After a jam-packed offseason, Brooklyn Nets fans enter next year with high hopes. With that being said, here are three things we may want, but likely won’t get this upcoming NBA season.

Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, and a returning cast nearly identical to last year’s playoff-bound squad? Now that’s something to get excited about. Heading into the 2019-2020 NBA season, Brooklyn Nets fans certainly deserve every right to emerge from their Billy King induced hangovers and explode with enthusiasm as they gear up for a campaign certain to usher in a new age for the team.

However, pushing that excitement to an extent beyond reason stands as a potential mistake for the Nets fans, as reality awaits its chance to ambush them and potentially blanket the borough with disappointment.

To combat this, shining a spotlight upon any expectations too daring stands as a strategy necessary to avoid said disappointment. With all that noted, here are 3 things Nets fans may want to happen next year, but most likely will not.
