Manan currently is a freshman at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Previously, he wrote for Nothin' but Nets while he was a student at John P. Stevens High School in Edison, New Jersey. During the 2014-2015 school year, he served as the Editor-In-Chief of Fortnight Buzz, the newspaper for his school's Future Business Leaders of America Club. Although family, school, and academics are of foremost importance to him, he believes that "ball is life." He has been a die-hard Nets fan since 2005 and is glad to have witnessed the Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, and Richard Jefferson era. Whenever he is playing in a game of basketball, he likes to think that he's Joe Johnson by proclaiming himself as "Iso Joe" every time he gets the ball. And if he had a time machine, he says that he would travel back in time to the 2012 draft and return the 6th pick to the Nets. "Live by the ball, die by the ball."For all you Math fans: https://goo.gl/6gznfD
