The Nets Group Chat sounds interesting, according to Kendrick Perkins.

Ahh, who to believe: Kendrick Perkins, or basically every active Nets player?

The NBA world, in an attempt to rev up the same sabotage mission that torpedoed Kyrie Irving’s time in Boston, has recently banded together to morph his desire for social justice conversation into an alien request to start his own league, something his teammates have roundly denied.

But the conversation is far from over thanks to Big Perk, who resuscitated talks late on Wednesday, claiming that he has plenty of untapped juice about Irving emanating from the Nets’ now-famous group chat.

Come on, Perk. If you have gossip, and you want to release that gossip, there is nothing stopping you from doing so. Clearly, that’s what you want the world to think about your recent tweets! So if you’ve got nothing, stay silent. If you’ve got something…type it and hit send?

As expected, the current Nets showed up in the comments to defend Irving’s honor yet again. First, Wilson Chandler asked Perk to spill the beans.

Then, things got really interesting when Kevin Durant decided to RT a fan’s spot-on reply.

Never forget that prime Perkins was a PROBLEM for his own team, due to the lack of spacing he brought about during his entire tenure.

Bottom line, Kendrick Perkins appears to have chosen the NBA media path that involves: stirring up drama, hot taking yourself to the top of the mountain, and combating Kyrie Irving’s whims. He gives you all plenty of material, right? Why not use him as a springboard to create your new media legacy?

All things considered, it’s clear Kyrie isn’t on board with the NBA’s big, gleaming, fenced-in distraction at Disney, and has likely floated some attacks on the plan to his Nets teammates. But we’re not sure how Kendrick Perkins got access, and if he did uncover some sort of gold, why he isn’t freely spilling it.

Cupcake.
