The Brooklyn Nets have a tough schedule in the Orlando bubble.

Brooklyn Nets fans have longed to hear it: we have a season (crossing all fingers and toes as we speak), and we have a schedule!

Prior to the NBA playoffs, the Nets are set for a series of tuneups, and they’re going to have to beat quite a gauntlet in order to secure their playoff seeding.

Brooklyn opens with a de factor “road’ game in an empty arena against Orlando, and things only get worse from there.

The Brooklyn Nets schedule for the Orlando restart is a gauntlet.

In case you’re wondering, the Nets’ opponents have a combined winning percentage of .543 — it’s not necessarily what you want!

And there’s no rest for the wicked before this thing really kicks into gear.

Brooklyn’s very first battle comes with the Magic on 7/31, and Orlando sits just a half-game back of the Nets. Two of these final eight regular season contests will come against Orlando, and the outcomes of these games may decide whether Brooklyn receives the blistering Milwaukee Bucks, equally good on the “road” and at home, or the Toronto Raptors, a team that is more likely to be out of place in Florida.

Even worse, the first game back is a nasty matinee. I’m sure that’ll feel natural after months of complacency! Nobody go to the Disney DJ set on 7/30, OK, Nets?

Luckily for the Nets, the Magic face many of the same opponents (of course), and wrap their season up with Zion Williamson, who the NBA most assuredly shoved into this restart for ratings purposes.

Still, nobody wants him on their docket. No-body.

While Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will not be participating, Brooklyn hopes that the scoring punch of Tyler Johnson will be enough to fend off the league’s very best (and Orlando).
