After a wild 28-point comeback win over the Knicks, the 31-27 Brooklyn Nets host the 26-31 Washington Wizards tonight at 7:30 PM EST. WynnBET has Brooklyn as 3-point favorites and -155 on the moneyline (bet $15.50 to win $10) while the over/under is set at 219.5 for this Nets vs Wizards matchup.

Nets vs Wizards Prediction

Maybe James Harden was the sour apple, after all? The Nets have now won two in a row and covered the spread in four straight and seem to be feeling like a team united. In overcoming one of the largest deficits in NBA history for a win, Brooklyn got to send the rival Knicks home distraught and are feeling confident.

That doesn’t mean there’s no cause for concern, however. After all, they did have a 28-point deficit to the Knicks in the first place. That’s not good. Their defense still ranks among the league’s worst and will stay that way at least until Ben Simmons is able to play.

Frankly, I think the 5-point line is an overreaction and a bit wild to be honest. Just seven days ago, the Wizards were 1.5-point favorites in this exact same matchup. The Nets won by a point, but what’s changed in a week to make Brooklyn five-point favorites? They have Seth Curry and Andre Drummond playing now, but are they really worth six and a half points?

I think the public will be all over the Nets, especially after last night’s win, and we have to zig where others zag. At just 7-20 against the spread at home this year, the Nets haven’t shown they deserve to be such dramatic favorites.

Give me the Wizards +5 (-110) to keep it close against a Brooklyn defense that has shown it can be beat.

We never want to overreact, but I’ll say rushing over to WynnBET immediately to take advantage of their free $200 guaranteed cash is a proper reaction. Don’t forget to claim your offer now. Bet $10, Win $200 by signing up for WynnBET now!
