Game 15: Nets at Celtics – Wednesday, November 24, 7:30 p.m.

The Nets will take on the East’s best, the Boston Celtics, tonight at the TD Banknorth Garden, before returning home for two days to celebrate Thanksgiving.

New Jersey halted its three-game winning streak last night with a 107-101 win in overtime over the Atlanta Hawks. Boston is also coming off a win against Atlanta, which took place the night before at the Philips Arena. The win came after the Celtics dropped consecutive games against Oklahoma City and Toronto.

One issue the Nets will have to resolve over the holiday is that of Terrence Williams. The second-year guard was suspended by the team for last night and tonight’s game, citing unspecified team violations. According to Avery Johnson, Williams has already been fined multiple times, but further action was needed to match the volume of his indiscretions. It has been reported that Johnson and general manager Billy King will have a resolution to the Williams situation by Friday.
