Nets week in review: Eight-game losing streak snapped vs. Wizards

The Nets first win in nine games came Thursday night against the Washington Wizards sans rookie star John Wall, but beggars can’t be choosers, and New Jersey had to be happy to finally get off the schneid. Devin Harris’ 29 points led the Nets to a 97-89 win in New Jersey.

Harris also led his team with nine assists. Kris Humphries had a huge double-double with 12 points and 17 rebounds. Brook Lopez added 18 points, while Travis Outlaw chipped in 13 points off the bench.

Nick Young led the Wizards with 22 points, while Gilbert Arenas and Al Thornton had 19 and 18 points, respectively.
