Week in review: Nets travel to Memphis, earn second straight win

The Nets hit the road to take on the Grizzlies on Tuesday, earning a long-elusive road win with a 101-94 win in Memphis. New Jersey’s last victory away from Newark took place on November 15 when they beat the Clippers in L.A.

Brook Lopez led the way with 26 points on 8-of-14 shooting and 10-of-11 shooting from the free throw line. Sasha Vujacic had another strong game off the bench, scoring 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting. Kris Humphries notched yet another double-double, finishing with 12 points and 15 rebounds. The Nets shot 53 percent from the field and out-rebounded Memphis 49-39.

Marc Gasol led the Grizzlies with 19 points. Mike Conley had 13 points and eight assists, while O.J. Mayo added 17 points off the bench.

The consecutive wins were the first the Nets had since the first two games of the season when they beat Detroit and Sacramento to get out of the gates 2-0.
