The Nets saw a difficult year in their organization’s history end Thursday night with a 90-81 loss to the Bulls in Chicago. Both teams shot under 40 percent from the field and under 30 percent from beyond the arc.
Carlos Boozer had a huge game, leading all scorers with 20 points and pulling down 15 rebounds. Derrick Rose and Luol Deng each added 19 points each for the Bulls, who upped their record to 13-3 at home and 21-10 overall.
Brook Lopez was a perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line and led New Jersey with 19 points. Travis Outlaw and Stephen Graham each added 16 points. New Jersey was short-handed, playing without Troy Murphy (viral infection) and Jordan Farmar (bone bruise).
