D-Will to Sit for Three Games
By Editorial Staff
As reported on ESPN, Deron Williams will sit for the next three games in an attempt to heal from his right wrist injury. Williams picked up said injury on January 26th, and has been attempting to play through it ever since. The good news is that this injury won’t require surgery unless injured further, the bad news is that Williams’ doctors would prefer that he take 3-4 weeks to allow the wrist to heal as opposed to 3 games.
There had been talk of the Nets shutting down Williams for the remainder of the season, but Williams has had a different mindset.
"“The Nets didn’t trade for me to sit.”"
The three missed games will be Washington (Today), Indiana (Tomorrow) and Cleveland (Wednesday). Williams hopes to be ready for Friday’s game against Orlando.
