Tonight, the Brooklyn Nets will host the Sacramento Kings, one of the worst teams in the Western Conference, just two days after Brooklyn lost against the Boston Celtics. Marcus Thornton will play against his old team. Kevin Garnett will not play again as a result of his back injury.
The Nets’ record is currently 30-30 and they need to win tonight to stay close to the Toronto Raptors in the Atlantic Divison standings. Sacramento has good players: DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay, but this team has only won 22 games this season so far.
Comparisons players
Deron Williams vs Isaiah Thomas. Advantage: Williams
Williams is much bigger than Thomas and he has also played good defense in recent games. However, Thomas might be able to score a lot of points tonight. Nevertheless, Williams should be one of Brooklyn’s leaders tonight.
Sean Livingston vs Ben McLemore. Advantage: Livingston

Again, Pierce will have a chance to Brooklyn’s best player tonight. I think that the Nets’ leaders will be Pierce and Williams tonight.
Mason Plumlee vs DeMarcus Cousins. Advantage: Cousins
This will be a scary matchup and if Cousins wants to play very well today, it will be hard for Brooklyn to stop him. Brooklyn collected very few rebounds against the Celtics and if they want to win tonight, they will have to limit Cousins, even though he will be the strongest and biggest man on the court. Blatche will need to play well tonight, especially on defense – where he has struggled lately.
My prediction: the Nets will win 105-93. We will watch the game and make a podcast at halftime.
