Brook Lopez was another player who came into the season with question marks in regards to his health. Lopez lost his starting job to Mason Plumlee and it took Lopez sometime to adjust to life coming off of the bench. The last week has been a stressful time for Lopez, as he has seen his name being tossed around in numerous trade rumors and it has been hard for him to deal with. Lopez wants to be a Net for life and although he hasn’t been traded yet, his name remains on the trade block.
Lopez is averaging 15 points and 6.2 rebounds per game this season and the seven-footer has played in 31 games. Lopez has played very well as of late and the Nets need him to continue to be a dominant offensive presence. Lopez remains on the block, so there is no guarantee that he will be a member of the Nets for much longer, but as long as he is in black and white, the Nets need to continue to get him his touches and let him dominate.
