Jarrett Jack came into Brooklyn expecting to be the team’s backup point guard, but with injury problems plaguing Deron Williams, Jack has become the Nets starting point guard. Jack has been one of the team’s most important players throughout the early part of the season and he has already consumed a hefty amount of minutes this season.
Jack is not a good three-point shooter, but his near perfect mid-range jumper and ability to finish at the rim makes up for his poor perimeter shooting. The Nets will need Jack to continue his success during the second half of the season and as long as he keeps this level of play up he should remain the starting point guard.
