4. Buck Williams

Despite being virtually unknown for most of his career, Buck Williams was an absolute beast. He averaged a double double every year for the first seven years of his career. The lowest rebounds per game within that stretch was 11.9, and the lowest points per game in that stretch was 15.5. Williams described himself as a “blue collar worker who goes out every night and gets the job done.” Williams was a vital part of the Nets team from the late 80s to the early 90s. He was a terrific offensive rebounder who could finish at the rim and score in the post, and he was an excellent interior defender. He earned three all star selections as a Net, and he continued to work hard every day to improve as a player. Every team should be lucky enough to have a player like Williams who can get the dirty work done and make it easier for the rest of the team to play well. In eight seasons as a Net, Williams averaged 16.4 points and 11.9 rebounds per game.
