While Jennings has definitely had his ups and downs since coming into the league in 2009, he has flashed signs of being a perennial all-star. He will most likely never be an extremely consistent player, but he would be an upgrade over Jarrett Jack. Jennings can make jump shots, drive to the rim, and can run the offense well. His main setback is his decision-making and maturity, which has always been an issue for him. He is very much like his former teammate, Josh Smith, because he sometimes takes shots that leave viewers scratching their heads.

Jennings has to get his mental errors fixed before he can be a go-to guy, but he has all the physical abilities to be able to be an impact player no matter who he plays for. Jennings could possibly sign a 1 or 2 year deal for a reasonable amount of money, as the Pistons will most likely go with Reggie Jackson as the PG of the future. Jennings would be a great addition to a team that will need outside scoring and slashing once Joe Johnson leaves.
