2.  SG: Eric Gordon

Once upon a time, Eric Gordon was set to be the next great SG in the league. With a terrific jumper, great handling, and excellent driving and finishing skills, Gordon had all the tools to be a perennial all-star and even MVP candidate. However, his body begged to differ. Injury after injury plagued him, and his once great potential slipped away. Despite not being the superstar that many envisioned he would become, Gordon is still a good player that can shoot from three and score at the rim. He is not a guy that the team can rely on night in and night out, but he would be an upgrade for the Nets at SG, and he could step in and replace Joe Johnson’s production easily.

If Gordon struggles this upcoming season, his value might go down enough to where the Nets can get him on a bargain deal. With a lot of cap space to work with, Gordon will be easily affordable, and his talent is worth the risk that the Nets would be taking.
