3.  SF: Nicolas Batum

Batum is a guy that is an all-around solid player. He can shoot, drive, rebound, and defend, and he does all of that while putting in 100 percent effort every night. Batum recently signed a deal with the Charlotte Hornets, but if they decide to part ways after this season, Batum could be a serious option for the Nets. Batum embodies the type of player that the Nets have been looking for for the last few years. Hard working, dedicated, and all-around talented are some of the traits that the Nets could find useful.

If Batum does become a free agent this offseason, he could be a contender for a long-term deal from a team, considering his production has stayed consistent throughout his entire career. With Batum, teams know what they are getting, and it is worth shelling out a decently sized contract to get. Batum may not be the kind of player that will light up a game in any stat category, but he is extremely reliable and does not have any major weaknesses. Look for the Nets to seriously consider him come July.
