With the season looming closer and closer, the Nets have to start thinking about what five players they will put on the floor to start every game. With a lot of youth on the roster, it is definitely not clear who will emerge as the starting five. The Nets have a lot of options to choose from, and there are a bunch of ways that they could choose to take their lineup. In the end, the Nets will probably roll with a smaller lineup to start the season, but if that turns out not to work, they might switch to a different group of players. After losing a lot of the veterans either last season or in the offseason, the Nets are looking to create a fresh slate, and switching to a smaller lineup would definitely be the best way to take advantage of their youthful roster.

The lineup will be built around Brook Lopez in the middle, and surrounding him with shooters seems to be the best strategy for the Nets this season. They have a roster full of players that can shoot the ball, and they would be wise to use these guys to spread the floor. They also have a lot of guys that can get out in transition and a point guard that excels at speeding up the pace. So, without further ado, here is the projected starting lineup for the Nets.
