Matthew Dellavedova is a bit of an underrated name in this free agent class. A guy that made a name for himself in last year’s NBA finals with his stellar play, Dellavedova could be interesting option at point guard for Brooklyn. He’s known for his tenacious defense and ability to shoot from the three-point shooting. The 25-year-old Aussie could be ready to jump into a starting role.

The biggest argument against Dellavedova is that he’s never been a full-time starter in this league, so it’s remains unknown on whether he could properly quarterback an offensive system full-time as a starting point guard. Regardless, in a free agent class that severely lacks proven point guards, Dellavedova is a solid player, who has proven he can play on the biggest stage, who could be bought for a decent enough price. Brooklyn should definitely take a look.
