RPG: 1.8

TOV: 1.4

FG%: 39.3%

3P%: 33%

Ty Lawson is perhaps the biggest name on this list, as well as the player with most career success. Lawson spent four-and-a-half years as a full-time starting point guard with the Denver Nuggets, averaging 17.6 points and 8.8 assists in his most successful season. However, after his second DUI related arrest in one year, and a trade to the Houston Rockets, his value plummeted. Lawson had by far the worst year of his career, averaging just 5.7 points and 3.6 assists per game, playing for both Houston and the Indiana Pacers.

Lawson would be a bit of a reclamation project for Kenny Atkinson and his staff, but one that could be worth their time. Lawson is just 28-years-old, and should be in the prime of his career. He is undoubtedly a talented player. If given the reigns as starting point guard in Brooklyn, perhaps he could go back to the way he played in Denver. But it may be a risk worth taking for the 21-win Nets.
