Ben Bentil is a long and athletic forward who can score from multiple spots on the floor: around the rim and all the way out to the 3-point line. He was terrific this past season for Providence. During his sophomore season at Providence, Bentil was the leading scorer in the Big East conference with an average 21.1 points per game.

Benton’s stock rose after his showing in the five-on-five games at the combine. Bentil finished with 15 points, 11 rebounds and three assists to help his combine team win by 40 points. During those games, he showed the complete skill set a lot of scouts love about him.

NBA teams loved Bentil’s measurements at the combine. He measured at 6’8.25 in shoes and his wingspan was 7’1.5 with 9.5 inch hands (the largest of any player at the Combine). Lentil could end up going to the Indiana Pacers at No. 20.

Golden State could end up losing Harrison Barnes in free agency in the off-season. Kerr uses versatile players to their advantage, especially with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, Bentil would get a lot of Barnes-like open looks. Kerr also likes his team to shoot from the perimeter from four positions.
