Sean Kilpatrick was a man amongst boys in the Summer League.

The 26-year-old guard was one of the oldest players on the roster and the clear leader of the team. He was almost always the best player on the floor when in the game, and it can be argued he was simply too good for the Summer League.

Averaging 19.3 points per game, Kilpatrick lived up to the reputation he established with the Nets last season. He’s a scorer who can get buckets in a multitude of ways. He drove to the basket with ease, and has the ability to shoot from anywhere on the floor.

We didn’t learn anything new about Kilpatrick this summer. There’s a reason Sean Marks signed him to a three year deal last season, and he simply confirmed the obvious this summer: Sean Kilpatrick is undoubtedly an NBA player.
