9. Brook Lopez, Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets made a few veteran additions this offseason, such as Jeremy Lin, Trevor Booker, and Randy Foye, but it’s Brook Lopez who is the veteran of this NBA franchise.

In recent years, Lopez has found himself the subject of trade rumors as the Nets rebuild, but as of now, Lopez is still set to man the middle this season in Brooklyn.

Last season, Lopez averaged nearly a career-high 20.6 points per game (his career-high is 20.7 ppg) and also reeled in 7.8 rebounds per game.

Lopez has had his share of injuries to this point in his NBA career, and he may be on a team that doesn’t figure to contend this season, but he should be considered a top 10 center in the NBA. Unless something changes during the season, it doesn’t seem like Lopez will be traded. As it stands, he remains on the Nets, and he grabs the No. 9 spot on this list.
