Luis Scola

The Nets acquired Luis Scola during the 2016 NBA offseason, and Scola will serve as an important veteran presence for the Nets. Scola will be entering his tenth season in the NBA. His most impressive stint was his five-year tenure with the Houston Rockets, during which he averaged 14.5 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per game.

The Rio 2016 Olympics are the fourth Olympic Games Scola is participating in. Scola was part of the Argentinian teams that won gold in the 2004 Athens Olympics and bronze in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Argentina did not place in the 2012 London Olympics.
