Jason Kidd

Jason Kidd is arguably the greatest Nets player of all time. With Kidd, the Nets were able to prosper in the playoffs, advancing to the NBA Finals twice in 2002 and 2003. Though Kidd wasn’t able to lead the Nets to a championship in both years, his legacy will always be remembered by the four division championship and two Eastern Conference championship banners that hang in the Barclays Center.

Kidd was part of the 2000 and 2008 USA teams that won gold medals in Sydney and Beijing, respectively. Throughout his entire Olympic career, Kidd never lost a game, leading Team USA to an astounding 56-0 for both Olympics. When reflecting on his time with Team USA, Kidd had only good things to say:

"“Having two gold medals, it’s a dream come true. There are not a lot of guys who can say that.” “I’m undefeated. I told them I can retire now from international ball. This is something I will cherish a long time.”"
