With the schedule for the 2016-17 season released, let’s take a look into possible depth charts for the Brooklyn Nets.

This offseason was quite a productive one for the Brooklyn Nets. Though the Nets couldn’t capitalize on any big-name free agents, Nets fans should be relatively pleased with the team’s offseason.

Now that the offseason is coming to a close and the NBA preseason is on the horizon, we can take a shot at predicting the lineups the Nets will use this season.

Brooklyn currently has 18 players on the training camp roster, which they’ll obviously have to downsize before the regular season begins. Each NBA team is only allowed to have a maximum of 15 players on their roster: 13 active, two inactive.

At first glance, it’s clear that the Nets have a surplus of guards on their roster. Not all of them can end up on the final roster, and some may wind up in Long Island.

The depth chart discussed here was made under the presumption that newest additions Yogi Ferrell, Beau Beech, and Egidijus Mockevicius will be cut.
