The Brooklyn Nets are a franchise that has been around for quite some time. The team was established in 1967 under the name, the New Jersey Americans. After one season, the team made the name change to the New York Nets. The Nets were one of multiple teams that founded the American Basketball Association (ABA). In 1976, the Nets were one of four teams included in the NBA-ABA merger. Since then, the Nets have made the move from New Jersey to Brooklyn, and are still part of the NBA today.

Nets history has been filled with a lot of decisions. Some of the decisions have been great for the franchise, while others have been terrible. No matter the case, here are the Nets five biggest decisions in franchise history.
