Considered the best passer of all-time, John Stockton played the role of point guard better than many.

While Stockton never won a championship, he still had a more successful career than many point guards before and after him. He was a ten-time All Star, two-time All-NBA first team selection, and a five-time NBA All-Defensive Second Team selection.

Above all, though, Stockton is remembered for his ability to pass offensively and steal defensively. He led the NBA in assists for nine straight seasons! Stockton also retired as the all-time leader in assists, a record he still owns. He also retired averaging a double-double a game. Furthermore, Stockton led the league in steals twice, and also retired as the all-time steals leader, another record he still owns.

Stockton was known as a fierce and sometimes dirty player, but nonetheless he was one of the best to ever play the position.
