The Nets are entering their fifth season in Brooklyn. This marks the fifth year that the Nets and Knicks are cross-town rivals. Here is an in-depth look of what this year’s Battle of the Boroughs holds.

Going into the 2016 NBA season, the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks both have revamped rosters. The Knicks made a lot of big offseason signings. From the Nets side, they continued their rebuilding efforts while making some solid signings. This year’s Battle of the Boroughs should be much more lively than last season.

With that said, fans should know more about both team’s starting lineups. The Nets have holdovers from last season, Brook Lopez and Bojan Bogdanovic. For the Knicks, they have Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis. From there, both rosters look very different. Here is a look at how both teams will match up at each starting position come November 9 when the Nets visit the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
