It Always Rains Before The Rainbow

As Nets fans, we have suffered through some horrid times. However, thanks to Marks’ conservative summer, Brooklyn won’t be swimming in the pool of mediocrity for much longer.

The young guys are cementing the core of the team, and Marks has the money to surround them with veteran role players to make them better. As they develop and the team improves, bigger name players will have the Nets on their radar, and Marks will have the cache to offer them a lucrative contract with the chance of being the piece that puts them over the edge.

Bigger name players don’t need to be global icons like Stephen Curry or Blake Griffin, and a fringe All-Star would be more than enough.

That’ll be in due time, though. No one should have wildly high expectations for this team because they don’t have all the parts necessary for success just yet.
