Sean Marks will Make Trades

The new General Manager Sean Marks has already accomplished a litany of transactions, ranging from signing Sean Kilpatrick to acquiring Caris Levert on draft day. Ever since Marks traded Thaddeus Young, one should not be surprised by any trade he makes. Young loved Brooklyn and Brooklyn loved Young.

As we all know, the Nets are strung thin on draft picks. Look for Marks to keep the culture of acquiring young talent by trading away a role player or two for a draft pick of some sort. There are a lot of experienced veteran bodies on this lineup that could be moved in favor of young talent or future young talent.

The veteran presence is nice, but if the opportunity arises for draft picks, Marks would be foolish to turn them away.
