Brook Lopez will be an All-Star

Brook Lopez has only been to the All-Star Game once in his career, which was all the way back in 2012-2013. It makes it harder for someone like Lopez to make the game when the NBA decided to eliminate the center from its balloting.

Lopez has a rough time competing against the other power forwards in the East voting-wise, but he should be in the conversation. The big man averaged 20.6 points a game last season along with 7.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks a game. Lopez is most certainly one of the better scoring big men in the league.

Lopez should get recognized this year when he puts up even bigger numbers than last year. If Lopez can average 21.5 points and nine rebounds along with over a block per game there is no reason to believe he will not be voted in this season.

Lopez deserves some credit for being dominant on a team that has been getting dominated. He leads this team and deserves a spot on the All-Star team; his numbers prove it.
