The Nets will Eclipse Thirty Wins

The Nets have extraordinarily low expectations this year, especially in national power rankings. Last season was a dud as they only reached 21 wins. As a result, the coach and the GM were fired, and players were released and traded.

Now that there is a new system and a new culture here in Brooklyn, there should be different results. The Nets are still going to lose a good amount of games, but the feeling of the losses and wins — and of the entire season and team — will be different this year. The Nets have youth and potential. A rookie coach, two sophomores that can produce, and a first round pick on top of other draft picks with huge potential, too. Add in some solid veteran role players and leaders and the hope becomes stronger.

Fans should look forward to seeing this team compete. The young guns and the veterans should work together nicely and come out with some nice victories. We will beat some good teams and some bad ones. Expect for more than 21 wins…maybe even expect more than thirty.
