The Brooklyn Nets officially have eight wins at the half-way point of their schedule. While the team has struggled to get victories, how has the front court in particular fared? Here is the front court edition of our midseason grades.
Basketball is a team sport. While in special cases, individual players can take a team to new heights, teams like the Nets are inherently, dependent on five teammates playing together, chasing one common goal.
The Nets’ goal this season has been to make progress. Thus far, the Nets haven’t won many games, but they do have some interesting players to watch.

Over the course of two posts, we’ll be grading each player’s performance at the midway point of the 2016-17 NBA season. The Nets have 41 games in the book, and just eight of those games have resulted in victories.
Nevertheless, while it may seem that the Nets as a whole have not achieved much, there are players who have done well for themselves and the team. In part one of the series, we will grade the front court players for the Brooklyn Nets.
Before we begin breaking down each front court player’s grade, a quick disclaimer. The Nets use several different lineups, and most of their players are versatile. For the purposes of this post, we will include Rondae Hollis-Jefferson as part of the front court group of players. We will also include Quincy Acy, who, as of this writing, is on a 10-day contract.
