As part of this series, we will grade players who have donned Nets uniforms this season, and that includes players which are not currently on the team as of this writing.

Anthony Bennett falls into that category.

Bennett, the former No. 1 overall pick, simply did not work in Brooklyn. To be fair, the Nets took a flier on Bennett, and there simply wasn’t much value in the move for the Nets.

When the Nets signed Quincy Acy to a 10-day contract, releasing Bennett was the corresponding roster move. Bennett has since signed with Turkish Club Fenerbahce.

Once Acy became available, Brooklyn decided it was time to end the Bennett experiment and move in a different direction. Bennett, in the eyes of many, may be done in the NBA after his stint with the Nets ended.
