For the last few years, it seems like the Brooklyn Nets have been rumored to make a move come the trade deadline. Whether it be big or small, rumors always begin to swirl, and this year, given the Nets’ situation, it seems more and more likely a move will be made.

The NBA Trade Deadline is inching closer everyday, and it seems that day in and day out, we hear new rumors about players and teams that are unhappy with their current situation. Recently, we’ve heard rumors of Carmelo Anthony heading to a contender, the Nuggets wanting to trade away some of their players, and of course LeBron James pushing the Cleveland Cavaliers to trade for a playmaker.

One of the teams that is in need of some assets is the Brooklyn Nets. With limited tradable players, including Brook Lopez, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Sean Kilpatrick, the Nets need to capitalize on their players’ trade values when they are the highest.

With that said, here are five trades that the Nets could make that would definitely benefit their plan for the future.
