Player of the Game:

A-. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson put up a double-double against Golden State, with 16 points and 10 rebounds. He scored most of his points on strong drives and cuts to the rim, his specialty. He may have taken a couple of ill-advised jumpers, but it was an all around solid performance offensively. On the defensive end, he held Draymond Green to just five points, on 1 of 10 shooting from the field.. SG/SF. Brooklyn Nets. RONDAE HOLLIS-JEFFERSON

Wildcard:

Brooklyn Nets. SPENCER DINWIDDIE. A-. Spencer Dinwiddie has really upped his game as of late. With 13 points, five rebounds, and five assists, Dinwiddie had another solid game. Dinwiddie also committed no turnovers, and made 2-3 from beyond the arc. His improvement will be one to watch as the season goes on. Can I trademark “Dinsanity” now?. PG

C. Brooklyn Nets. BROOK LOPEZ. C. Brook Lopez struggled in the first half, going 0-5 from the field, and committing four turnovers. He finally scored his first field goal with five minutes left in the third quarter. Coming off of a back to back — and a West coast trip — Lopez’s struggles may have been predictable. Although Lopez struggled from the field, he did have five assists. That includes a Rubio-esque bounce pass to Spencer Dinwiddie on the fast break.
