Player of the Game

A+. Brook Lopez continues to be… well, Brook Lopez. “The Wookie” had his usual scoring and semi-average rebounding performance; he finished the game with 29 points and seven rebounds. His stats usually secure him the honors of “Player of the Game,” but this time around, they’re accompanied by the almighty game-winning shot! I mean, as always, he’s Brooklyn’s top scorer, but you add in late-game heroics now… keep doing you, Brook.. C. Brooklyn Nets. BROOK LOPEZ

Wildcard

There were a few plausible candidates for Wildcard, but K.J. McDaniels showed excellence from a variety of areas on the floor. The 24-year-old finished with 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting from the field and 2-of-4 shooting from downtown. Most of his production came towards the beginning of the second quarter, which helped to spark a Nets run, as the team would eventually take the lead at halftime.. SG/SF. Brooklyn Nets. K.J. Hollis-Jefferson did not score in double figures for the second consecutive game, finishing with only four points on 2-of-7 shooting from the field. He’s not exactly well-known for being an offensive weapon, but man, his few scoring outbursts have to mean something and be somewhat consistent.. SG/SF. Brooklyn Nets
