B+. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson had a strong game, despite the poor overall effort by the rest of his team. The Brooklyn Hyphen shot efficiently from the field, scoring in transition and on cuts to the rim. He finished with 19 points and seven rebounds while shooting 69.2 percent from the field. JUSTIN HAMILTON. B. J-HAM BACK. After a strong showing in garbage time against the Suns, Justin Hamilton followed it up with another strong performance. Hamilton, who relied on perimeter shooting in his early season success, mixed it up against the Wizards. THE BROOKLYN NETS. D. This was a frustrating loss for the Nets. After strong play for the past two weeks, the Nets evidently did not bring the same intensity and focus on Friday night. The players seemingly were going through the motions. It may have been the back end of a back-to-back, but the effort simply wasn’t there. The Nets have played well against the Wizards in two of their three previous contests. They were lacking on both ends, and the results show that.
