What “Experts” Have to Say

There are numerous mock drafts that circulate and create excitement among many fans based off who these experts have their team drafting. Much of the draft analysis is speculation based off team needs because no one really knows which players will be selected by a team until the commissioner calls out a name at the podium.

However, it is always fun to narrow down what feels like an infinite amount of prospects, to at least a dozen.  So, who are some of the speculated picks for the Nets?

Bleacher Report has Brooklyn drafting Terrance Ferguson, a small forward out of Australia’s National Basketball League. We know Marks is scouting the Euroleague and international talent, but it seems kind of hard to believe in this deep of a draft, they would select Ferguson (no disrespect) with their first pick.

The Nets’ second pick in the first round, according to Bleacher Report, should be Harry Giles III, the power forward out of Duke. Standing at 6-foot-11, the 18-year-old Blue Devil might look impressive, but his numbers certainly do not. In 26 games, he has averaged 3.9 points and 3.8 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game.
