Some Other Prospects

John Collins

John Collins is a 19-year-old power forward out of Wake Forest. In 33 games, Collins averaged 19.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks. Most mock drafts have him going before either of the Nets’ two picks, so if he is there when Brooklyn is selecting, it could be considered a steal.

Likewise, don’t be surprised if the Nets trade one of their two picks and a player to move up to select this impressive power forward. According to The Step Back, Marks was sighted at the Wake Forest vs. Boston College game at the Barclays Center and is reportedly very high on the Wake Forest prospect.

TJ Leaf

The power forward out of UCLA averaged 16.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 29.9 minutes per game. Many mock drafts have TJ Leaf going somewhere in the late first round. However, there are some concerns about his consistency shooting threes and his consistency against top-tier competition.

Leaf played next to Lonzo Ball, who has been hailed as the second coming of Jason Kidd. So, there are likely concerns these numbers could be the product of playing with a quality point guard.
