Player of the Game

C. Brooklyn Nets. BROOK LOPEZ. A-. Brook Lopez notched 20+ points yet again last night, 26 to be exact. He’s probably found himself as the Player of the Game way too often this season, but in this game, there was no competition, by far. On top of his scoring, Lopez grabbed nine rebounds, dished out six assists and blocked two shots. There are always statistics across the board for the “Wookie,” which more often than not earns him this honor.

Wildcard

Despite being on limited minutes in his first game back from a hamstring injury, Sean Kilpatrick picked up right where he left off. He was instant offense for the Nets, as he scored seven points in two minutes of playing time early in the second quarter. What earns him the honor of Wildcard is the timing of his points; the Nets trailed by seven points after the first quarter, but Kilpatrick helped the team get right back into it.. SG. Brooklyn Nets. PG/SG. Brooklyn Nets. ISAIAH WHITEHEAD. F. Isaiah Whitehead struggled last night, finishing the game with just three points on 1-of-5 shooting from the field. Yes, these points came off a three-pointer, so unfortunately, he didn’t have any wacky, successful “Cyclone” spin moves. Hopefully, there’ll be more of those to go around for the rest of the season.
