The Brooklyn Nets are not only playing their best basketball of the season, but they are one of the hottest teams in the NBA. In fact, the Nets were just one point away from a four-game winning streak instead of three.
There is a Netflix original series called “Black Mirror.” The show has a “Twilight Zone” feel to it, where the stories are based around extreme social conditions surrounding technology.
ICYMI: Last Week’s Stars & Slackers
While all of the situations are unrealistic, it touches on reality just enough to make you believe that it can actually happen in the right conditions. Next season, the first episode will be about the Brooklyn Nets’ three-game winning streak. A situation many fans hoped for, could imagine happening, but knew was certainly unrealistic.

Similarly, the Boston Celtics are fighting for the top seed in the East. If the Nets can knock the Celtics off at the end of the season to take away home court advantage, that is the best revenge Brooklyn fans can hope for. In order to achieve these two moral victories, the stars of this past week have to show up once again.
