Which Nets would you like to see get more minutes as the season winds down?

Sandy Mui (@sandymui1134): Simply because he’s been hit with the hammy injury bug as of late, I hope we’ll get to see Sean Kilpatrick back on the floor before season’s end. As for other players I want to see more of from a development standpoint, definitely K.J. McDaniels and Caris LeVert. McDaniels’ incredible athleticism from inside the key demands more playing time, and he’s one of the more Brooklyn gritty (pun-intended) Nets who still has a question mark over his long-term future on the team, but has shown flashes of potential. Meanwhile, LeVert has been battling end-of-season struggles, but was particularly impressive in the Nets’ two latest outings against Orlando and Chicago. Just keep feeding him minutes, and he’ll deliver.

Charles Maniego (@ignisyon): I want to see more K.J. McDaniels. I’ve been impressed with his defense so far, and he’s such an exciting player to watch. His three-point shot, which has been lackluster, doesn’t look bad. It seems like he just needs confidence with it. More playing time will allow him to grow confident with his jumper.

Sean Costello (@SeanBKN27): Definitely K.J. McDaniels and Andrew Nicholson. Nicholson seems to be getting the Luis Scola treatment so far. Maybe we can even start calling it the Andrew Nicholson treatment, since honestly, he’s seemed to get less time than Scola did. I’m not too sure why he isn’t seeing any time, but if he isn’t in the long-term plan, which I’m sure he isn’t, or even getting in the game, maybe see what you can do to trade that atrociously large contract or buy him out. Roster space may be needed come free agency.

As far as McDaniels goes, of course we’ve seen a appetizer of what he can bring, but I’d love to get a full course meal. I was in attendance a few weeks ago in Madison Square Garden when McDaniels had nine points, one assist and five rebounds against the Knicks in just 18 minutes. Safe to say, I was impressed.

I loved watching him in Philly, and I remember watching him, Michael Carter-Williams and Nerlens Noel take on the Nets a few years ago in Philly. I was actually in attendance that night as well, and McDaniels made me sink into my seat almost the whole game. After the Nets held a 32-19 lead at the end of the first, McDaniels came in and stole the show. The Nets ended up pulling the game out and winning 99-91 thanks to Alan Anderson and Kevin Garnett, but McDaniels also finished with 18 points that night. He’s shown throughout his short career that if given the opportunity, he can sure play some good basketball off the bench.

Charles Daye (@NotTheChuckD): I would like to see as much as possible from the young guns: Caris LeVert, Isaiah Whitehead, Archie Goodwin and K.J. McDaniels. Just let them play.
