Jawun Evans, out of Oklahoma State is not your typical undersized guard. He possesses qualities that the Brooklyn Nets may find serviceable.

Evans, a Greenville South Carolina native, just finished his sophomore year playing under Travis Ford. He had a strong allegiance to Ford and this relationship was a big factor in his decision to play his college ball in Stillwater. Ford was recently let go in favor of one his assistants, Mike Boynton.

Evans is locked into the draft as he hired an agent only a few short weeks after the NCAA Tournament concluded. He ended his illustrious college career with several honors to his name. This season, Evans was a Third Team All-American for Sporting News and an AP All-American Honorable Mention.

Evans accomplished a great deal in his two seasons as a Cowboy. He set a freshman single game scoring record for OSU and was named Big 12 Freshman of the Year. The Cowboys had a mediocre season record wise this winter. Despite that, Evans burst on the scene. The 5-11 guard averaged 19.2 points and 6.4 assists a game, on top of shooting a 37% mark from behind the arc.
