Free Agent centers for the Brooklyn Nets to consider

Dewayne Dedmon
Dewayne Dedmon announced his presence to the NBA fans with the San Antonio Spurs last season. The four-year veteran rewarded Greg Popovich ‘s trust in him by providing a great defensive presence to the Spurs team. Dedmon is a former journeyman having played for 4 different franchises in his rookie year alone, 5 in total.
Appearing in 76 regular season games, Dedmon started a little less than half of them. While playing just 17 minutes per game, Dedmon averaged a respectable six rebounds and five points. Dedmon added much-needed steel to the painted area on a team that included Pau Gasol and LaMarcus Aldridge.
Dedmon’s path through the NBA and to respectability made him a tireless worker. Though he is never mistaken for an offensive juggernaut by any metric, Dedmon would be a perfect complement to the Net’s Brook Lopez. An athletic big who focuses primarily on defense makes Dedmon the perfect candidate for this Nets team.
