Free Agent centers for the Brooklyn Nets to consider

Donatas Motiejunas
If at first, you don’t succeed, try and try again. This is the motivation in attempting to sign Donatas Motiejunas. The Brooklyn Nets previously signed Motiejunas to an over sheet last offseason. After matching the Nets offer, the Houston Rockets proceeded to restructure the contract causing a huge dispute between player and team. Motiejunas eventually signed with the New Orleans Pelicans. He has since taken legal action against the Rockets.
On the court, Motiejunas is a capable offensive weapon. In limited action, Motiejunas shot over 50 percent from inside the three-point arc. His numbers weren’t spectacular as he averaged four points and three rebounds in 14 minutes per game with the Pelicans.

It remains unclear whether the Nets are even eligible to pursue Motiejunas this off-season. However, the San Antonio Spurs are reportedly interested. Any player the Spurs is pursuing is worth taking a long, hard look at.
Finally, the Nets are a team that continues to progress. Marks seeks players that fit the vision he has and the philosophy Coach Atkinson teaches. The journey to respectability continues.
