It’s a special time of year for Brooklyn Nets fans in the Sean Marks era. Running wild are talks of what amazing rookie the Nets will get, what restricted free agent Brooklyn will pry away, what “diamond in the rough” is waiting for us. Fans also ask themselves “Who’s bad contract will we take to get picks?”

Thanks to some bad decisions over the years, the Brooklyn Nets drastically need some draft picks. While this is a painfully obvious truth, there is a silver lining ahead of the storm. They’re in a league where grossly over paid players and buyers remorse are at all time high. Due to this Brooklyn has a chance to reap in plenty of benefits for once.
