It is odd to write about this part of Livingston’s journey – BECAUSE EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED. As luck would have it, Shaun Livingston found himself in a dream scenario as the Warriors won a championship in 2015. He deservedly became a champion, and in the course of the journey, understood what it took to win. That is a big deal, especially for a  team like the Nets who are in short supply of players with championship pedigree.

Livingston was a major contributor to the championship run  that season as he came off the bench averaging close to 20 minutes per game and shot a marvelously efficient 50% from the field. Shaun Livingston earned every inch of that finals trophy.

Livingston and the Warriors went on to follow up their banner year with an equally impressive feat. During the 2015-16 NBA regular season, the Warriors won a total of 73 games. They shattered the previous record held by the Chicago Bulls.

The Warriors ended up going all the way to the finals that year only to choke mightily to the Cavaliers.  Although the loss in the finals might of felt like a shot to the jugular, Shaun Livingston can now add “Regular Season Win Record” to his resume.
