There is a chance the Nets move into the lottery. Marks has mentioned before that he enjoys the flexibility of having multiple draft picks. However, will packaging two picks in the 20’s be enough to get into the lottery? Maybe, but it won’t be enough to move into the luxurious top 10. Shopping Brook Lopez would be the Nets chance to move into that range, and they may have to attach one of their first-round picks as well. The price seems a tad too steep for a team in the early stages of a long rebuild, with limited draft picks.

Other options exist, though, and the Nets will evaluate all possibilities. So, without further ado, here is the projected Nets ‘big board’ for realistic options in the latter part of the lottery. These players are likely to be drafted outside of the top 10, but before the Nets 22nd overall pick.

Here’s video of the two working out together (Collins/Kennard).

You get a glimpse of his high character and work ethic here.

All three of these players have one thing ironically in common: they all come from the ACC. The ACC played their conference tournament at the Barclay’s Center. Luke Kennard won the MVP of that tournament. If the Nets decide to move up, these are the players that may trigger the move.
